HR Manager

I am working with an established business in the Engineering and Manufacturing sector who operate globally and have grown to be one of the market-leaders within their respective niche. Having been established over 30 years ago, you will be working for an elite business who are financially stable and are constantly investing in new equipment and software to ensure a premium quality of products and service.

As a HR Manager, you will be expected to manage all HR related activities reporting directly to the HR Director. This is an established HR function within a team and therefore will be perfect for a sociable individual who has experience in a fast-paced HR role within a large organisation. Other duties will include: 

  • Managing employee relations casework such as dispute resolutions, discipline and grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy. 

  • Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and sharing knowledge of best practices within the industry.

  • Working with internal managers with regards to employees' performance and well-being.

  • Develop HR Policy and procedures to drive performance.

  • Implement learning and development policy where necessary.

  • Liaise with senior members of the business to drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals.

  • Implement specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help the workforce work in alignment to business goals.

The ideal candidate will have a CIPD Level 7 qualification and experience within the Engineering and Manufacturing sector. They will also have previous experience in HR Generalist roles. They will be a proactive team player with great organisation and communication skills with proven leadership qualities.
